The SO is interested in video editing, but her camcorder (Hitachi
MV730E, using DVD-RAM mini-discs) has no provision for connection to a PC
and WinXP's Movie Maker will not accept input from a DVD - only from a
camera playback.

Anyone know of a Linux video editing program that will accept input from a
DVD?

(I'm running SuSE 9.0 Pro)
