I'm using Suse Linux 10.1 with KDE 3.5.4. Every programm runs very good,

The ony trouble i have found, that's the communication with the USB-2
ports. When I wan't to copy some photo's from external harddisk (USB-2)
to harddisk (S-ATA), then the maximum rate is 1mb pro second.
What can I do to let the ports faster?

Has the same hardware ( exactly ) run at faster speed?
What I mean is, is there possibly a USB 1.1 hub or cable
somewhere in the mix?
When I use Windows XP, and I would copy some photo's from my external
harddisk to my internal, it goes quickly. It's not usb 1.1 but 2.0. I'm
using usb 2 parts only.
How can I learn Suse Linux that I'm using usb 2, and not 1.x?
Making a copy of my 40gb harddisk costs my days?
I'm using a Asus p4p800-se mainboard with 1gb Kingston memory, and a Ati
radeon 128mb agp graphic card.

Mario
