Adding RAM

Hello,

Very uninformed questions coming up.

I'm handling some heavy translation databases and need some more RAM. I have
1 GB and I'm thinking of adding another 1 GB.

So do I need to do anything else than pushing the cards into correct slots?
I suppose my SUSE 10.1 system will pick up the new situation and relate to
it on boot, right?

Also, at the moment I have 1 GB of swap with my 1 GB of RAM. Should I adjust
the size of my swap partition in connection with the RAM upgrade?
