Dell Screen on Restart goes Black!!

Whenever I re-start my laptop, my computer starts up normally but when
I log in to my account(there is only one on my notebook), the screen
goes black for a couple of seconds and then it goes back to normal. I
would like to know how to fix this.

(I have checked other boards on Google but I see no solution that
works.)

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505.
