I'm using 10.1 but it opens the Firefox browser in the current
workspace instead of the workspace of the current open browser.

For instance, if I click to open a url link in Thunderbird in workspace 1
with Firefox already open in workspace 2, Firefox is moved to
workspace 1 with the url as a new tab.

It should have opened a new tab in Firefox in workspace 2.
The open new tab works fine but Firefox should not be moved from workspace
to workspace.

Isn't that the same behavior as clicking on a minimized object in a
different w.s.? The object is brought to you instead of you being
brought to the object or some other variation.

IOW what does the user want and how is the gui supposed to know?
