Should we upgrade from 10.0 to 10.1

Our client is using OpenSuse 10.0 [PHP 5.0.x and Tidy]. They don't want
to install any packages from source. So I have requested them to move
to 10.1 as PHP 5.1.x and Tidy is available [in rpm form].
They would like to know some good technical reasons/advantages for
moving from 10.0 to 10.1. Also is there anything we have to watch out
for during "upgrade" process?
