you select "all"? I tried clicking each and every packages, but gave up
twice.

The best answer? Don't. Many packages will conflict with others and many
will slow your system down. However most likely you won't believe me so
here it goes.

1) Don't do it untill you know what you are doing
2) YaST -> Software -> Software Management
3) Cancel now. Don't do it.
5) Filter on package Selections and select everything there.

:-) I'm more used to Slackware and Fedora. Just install everything to
harddisk, and then enable/disable what I need or don't need.

I've encountered "filter" on package selection before, but I couldn't
get anything near 9GB. I'll try 3rd time.

6) Cancel
7) Click on accept.

That will be the closest to installing everything. Don't forget that
there is much more to be installed when you add all the repositories on
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories and then
there are all the subdirectories in
http://software.opensuse.org/download/ that have the directory
'repodata' or 'media.1' to be added.

Most likely the next step will be to re-install your SUSE because it
won't work anymore because of the 'speed' due to all the services
running at the same time.

So: DON'T!

I know there is no step 4. Perhaps that will prevent you from going to
step 5 and cancel.
