DSL

Hi,

First I want to thank everyone for the very helpful information.
Unfortunately, the situation has changed and I again need to ask for advice.

The modem that Verizon has sent me is a Westel modem (router) and I just
spoke with someone at Verizon and was told that it is not DHCP, but
rather it's PPoE. At least she gave me all the info I need to get into
the modem(router), but what about going online.

Will my Suse 10.0 automatically connect, or do I still have to go into
YAST, and if so, what now? Is this static or dynamic?

Any help you may provide will be greatly appreciated and thank you in
advance.
