Ah, but the difference here is important and significant:
(Re)Installing Windows is a regular necessity.
(Re)Installing Linux is a personal choice.
I didn't install 10.0 until several months after its introduction and
just installed 10.1 last weekend. SWMBO's computer gets a new install
of 10.1 tomorrow (from 9.2) -- boy, she's really been *bugging* me to
get the new version!
I have *never* had to re-install Linux because it became
unstable . . . :-)
