keyboard and mouse problems under SLED 10...

Hi all,

I recently installed SLED 10 on an Abit AN9 32X system and I'm having a problem with my keyboard and mouse (both PS/2). They both work just fine with another (SUSE 10.1) system, so I don't suspect that they themselves are the culprit.

Keyboard: Occassionally I'll get "spurts" of characters as I'm typing. For example, typing "dmesg" may get me "ddddddmmmmmmesgggggg"

Mouse: There are messages logged (viewed via dmesg - when I can get it typed correctly! ;-) that complain about being out of sync and having to drop some number of bytes. Occassionally it'll complain about having to reset the mouse interface.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior?

Thanks,
Dave
