I tried everything with yast, didnt work.
My specs:
Network Card: IBM Ethernet Controler (Yast detects it on eth0 and
eth1)
ipconfig on windows gives:
Connection Specific DNS Suffix: hall1.student-halls.lon.ac.uk
IP Address : 128.86.158.208
Subnet mask: 255.255.254.0
Default Gateway: 128.86.158.1
Thanks for the help

Hello,
I am having a problem with my internet connection on Suse Ent. 8. Yast
detects my network card and configures it fine, but I dont know how to
configure dhcp.
Under windows, i just plug in the cable and it automatically detects
the network and i can connect to the internet. I dont know how to do
it in Suse, i always used a modem (proxies).
I got the default gateway by doing ipconfig on windows cmd. Our IT do
not provide support for Linux/Unix platforms,
You need to configure your ethernet adapter in YaST. Look under Network
Devices. You will see where you can set your DHCP, DNS, etc.
If you want more help, supply the missing information about what
ethernet adapter you have and exactly how you connect to the Internet.
