evolution handing html oddness

For some time now I have had this problem. When I open a message
containing html it starts me out at the bottem right corner of the
page. This has been going on for months now and I can't stand it
anymore . Does anyone know of a way to resolve this? I am including the
versions and error messages.
evolution 2.4.0-3.4
The only gdk I can find is gdk-pixbuf 0.22.0--72.3 and gdk-pixbuf-gnome
0.22.0-72
kde 3.5.2 ( the WM I always use )
gnome 2.12.0 Evolution does the same thing.
Susu 10.0 Updated via apt yesterday.
Its frustrating since it take from 3 to 10 seconds per email.
Any help would be great and very much welcome
