Well perhaps the fault lies within YOU !!

My primary system isn't even Linux and I was offended by "Deb"'s
article. I've certainly criticized SuSE without getting flamed, and
I've gotten the usual mix of responses; some informed, some worthless,
just like I would get in any other news group.

Now you and a few others have this bad habit of calling people in
this group zealots and other unkind names.

When I add someone to my twit list for that, I don't just filter them
in the one news group; I filter them in all. I considered doing that
with "Debs", and may yet if she/he/it doesn't lose that chip.

Most are out of a desire by manufacturers to keep there captive
users..captive.

I suspect that it is more a case of illegal contract terms with m$ not
allowing them to support Linux.

And by the way, when was the last time you posted any suggestions
directly to Novell ??

There have been a couple of issues that I had no luck with, e.g.,
maintenance of fstab through Yast is unintuitive, and there are no
help data for the unclear options. However, it's possible that some
things got lost during the SuSE -> Novell transition; maybe I'll
resubmit the next time I put up a new release, after verifying that
the problems still exist.
