connection without password

Hello,
As i am the only user of my pc i would try to have it starting without having to give a user name and password.
i use suse 10.0
I have tried several ways with kde control center/connections but without success.
I point out that i have installed 2 gui : gnome and kde.
Elsewhere also with 10.0 i can do it; i tried to reproduce the same specs at home but it does not work.

Any idea ?
