Indeed it is and I don't like it. The excuse they give is that when you
add a second user, the auto-login will be disabled.
On the same page there also is a selection to send root-mails to that
user by default. I have asked to do that. The answer was no, because
that could lead to root-mails ending up with the wrong user.

I always swutch those two when I do my final installation.
