10.0 or 10.1?
For both, as you're installing a 64bit system, DON'T disable ACPI. It
will result in lockups. Personal experience of these taught me 64bit
needs ACPI enabled.
For 10.0, there's likely to be no problems whatsoever. When I installed
my 64bit 10.0, after I learnt the ACPI required lesson, installation
proceeded with no problems.
I don't as yet have a 64bit 10.1 install so this is based on my 32bit
10.1 experience. When it asks if you want to perform an update, don't
say no. There are some minor issues that are fixed by this update. This
may take some time to actually perform, so be patient.
