Keyboard

Keyboard is not working after logging into the Splash screen. mouse
only works. Even when I go to the Terminal mode and start typing, it
goes no place.
The light for the number lock is lit. Anybody got any suggestions?
This is Suse 10.1
Need urgent answer.
