Hello,
Could you please let me know how to configure for Autologin in SuSE
Enterprise Linux 10.
I have tried to the following ways but i could not get success.
1. I tried modifying the file /etc/inittab at the location mingetty as
follows
1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty --autologin root tty1
It doesnot work. But the same thing works in Redhat.
2. I tried to modify /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager at locations
DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN="root"
DISPLAYMANAGER_PASSWORD_LESS_LOGIN="yes"
but this option also not worked.
Regards,
Sudheer
.
