Thanks for the idea, which raised many hopes in me after YaST seemingly broke an otherwise rather well performing installation of SuSE 10.1 x86_64 KDE on a ASUS A8N-VM CSM (6150 Nvidia graphic card : fantastic with the 64-bit NVidia Linux driver !). No sound, though.
Unfortunately, something seems to go wrong, and I am not sure I understand what I should do here : the message is obviously that something is broken in my installation, which I presumed, but I do not really understand what I shoud do to solve it. Here is what I get :

Of course, I had had the same sort of message with source 0 :-(
Should I compile new x86_64 binaries for these libraries and have the replace the former ones ? I am not sur about what I should do because everything I did up to now was on the i386 architecture, where all RPMs seemed always to be in compiled form somewhere.
Thanks if anybody sees yhe light here and does not object to share it (perhaps even a link would be sufficient ?)
