It would be funny if the form link actually linked to Mozilla Firefox... instead it links to IE7. That spoils the entire parody.
I think you didn't get the joke at all then. :P
The point is simple: "Microsoft created a copy of Opera and Firefox called Internet Explorer 7". The link to IE7 is correct.
Except after trying it for several hours today, I find that it did indeed try to be like Firefox and Opera. It is faster than IE6 and supposedly you are able to use Firefox addons. It is real buggy to say the least. I have a Canon toolbar that I use for easier web printing with my Canon ip4000. While all the buttons on that toolbar work, it was trying to superimpose itself over the toolbar that came from Firefox.
Being a Microsoft product, all the hackers will concentrate on it and it will still be the most insecure browser available.
