Re: Printing with Firefox 2 & Thunderbird 1.5.0.8

I can't remember the last time I was able to print with FF or TB from
Linux - both work fine under Windows XP, even using VMware Workstation
5.5.2 under SuSE 10.1.

When I try to print from either, I get: 'There was a problem printing
because the page size you specified is not supported by your printer'. I
chose A4 and it is supported.

Opera, including 9.02, has never had a problem printing! Should I use
that for browsing & email instead?

I can print from Firefox and Thunderbird: I just printed your post from
Thunderbird and a news story from Firefox. Both are from an openSUSE
Mozilla repository:
http://linux.nssl.noaa.gov/opensuse/repositories/mozilla/SUSE_Linux_10.1/

SUSE: 10.1
Firefox: 2.0-44.1
Thunderbird: "Version 2 beta 1 (20061021)"

I had no printing problem with "Half Official" Firefox and Thunderbird
1.5.0.7, either:
http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/projects/mozilla/10.1/
.
