Hi houghi
Setting it up is also not that difficult. In konqueror:
Settings, Manually specify the proxy settings. Next Setup.
Enter the proxyserver and the port at HTTP. Below cross 'Exeptions: Use
proxy only for entries in this list'. Remove the localhost and add the
BBC e.g. www.bbc.co.uk or movies.bbc.co.uk
OK, done all that, but does this cover Epiphany ?
Understand that this depends heavily on the bandwith the proxy has and
might be way too low for multimedia. Also not all will be available all
the time.
Yea, it's hellish trying to find a proxy that's working when you need
it to be
on line for you, worse still when you can only put in 1 proxy at a time
with
Konqueror :-( how come you can't put a bunch of them in and phase
through
them until you get a live wire ?
However as I do tunneling, I get (when I do it over my Belgian provider)
Proxy Server IP address: 195.144.64.17
Proxy Reports IP as: 195.144.64.15
And my IP adress is 82.146.105.240
Tunnelling, pas moi, me granddad did enough of that, anyway, coal is
out of fashion these days...
Canada Bob.
