sets up an organization like Thawte before you go throwing

Thawte and Verisign. Talk about companies that intentionally
rip off the public.... it's not even comparable to Novell
in this case. Thawte was certainly "better" than Verisign
before the acquisition, but even then, it was a company
built on the monopolization of the "certificate industry."
And industry that never should have been monopolized.

Let's see.. Novell makes a deal with Microsoft and
Shuttleworth speaks of "freedom". How about the freedom
to use any potential CA with our browser products??
What sayeth now dear Mr. Shuttleworth (who made his fortune
from locking the entire world out from the certificate
business).

I don't like the Novell-Microsoft deal... mainly
because of the perceptive mess (e.g. Mr. Shuttleworth
and others) it has caused. But Mark certainly shouldn't
be criticizing the same kind of "business" practices
that he himself endorses... especially when unlike
Thawte, Novell isn't trying to completely monopolize
the Linux market.

If you like monopolies, if people getting very rich
at yours and my expense is your thing, then perhaps
you should listen to Mr. Shuttleworth.... he knows
what makes the world go round after all... both
on the earth and above the earth...




He has clearly stated what everyone was thinking in the
back of their minds but did not want to admit.
