It is available from

would say. Take the latest version (obviously)

Looks like a bug report is in order. It's got an unlisted dependency on
jpeg. Found that out because my virtual 10.2 didn't have the jpeg rpm
installed.

So I will be doing some testing on this and if you like, you are welcome
to do so as well. For those who were complaining about wanting to have a
SUSE fork, show that you mean it and test this puppy. See if you find
files taht were forgotten and such.

Looking at the output so far, there's quite a few packages that need to
be "adjusted." No idea how many they've forgotten, and the only way I
can see someone finding them all is to install every single package.

Also, anyone forking is going to need to do a lot of new artwork. As an
example, all the icons in yast2-theme-openSUSE-2.14.1-9.noarch.rpm just
got replaced with blank icons, and bootsplash-theme-SuSE-3.1-91.i586.rpm
looks to have had all the images replaced by blank images.

It will be the greatest tool to make your own fork (although I need to
do some work on makeSUSEdvd as well to make it easier)

Hints and tips: once you've copied the contents of the CD images, either
go through the directories under suse/ individually, or find | xargs.
When I tried it, it complained about the argument list being too long.
All I used was:

rpm-rembrand -R /tmp/temp /mnt/suse/{i586,i686,noarch,x86_64}/*.Rpm

but I'd mounted a generated DVD and was using that as the source, so
it's hardly a surprise :)

If you look at the times people put these things up, I wonder if the
people just like to work there or are working in a sweat shop. :-D

I thought you knew, programmers only need a supply of coffee, Coca-Cola
and cold pizza, and they'll be happy :-)
