Re: Gigabit adapters

The carbonbased lifeform Flyer inspired alt.os.linux.suse with:
Can anyone recommend a good gigabit adapter for use with Suse? Currently,
I'm using a GA311, which with 10.0 only gave me 200-300 kilobits/sec, with
10.2RC1, I get 2-3 megabits/sec, so it would seem adapter support for this
NIC is improving. However, I need to transfer large files between destops,
so I need higher speeds.

I have good experiences with Intel Pro1000 NICs, specially the server
types.
