After trying a few different kernel versions, I still cannot mount my
digital camera. Other USB mass storage devices, such as an MP3 player can
mount correctly.
I currently am using suse 10 with kernel version 2.6.18.1
The camera is a Kyocera Finecam S5R, which uses a USB connection and SD
card.
you can try gphoto
try in konsole "gphoto2 --auto-detect"
it is NOT listed but maby ;-)

Re: digicam on ugen0 ... You should be able to mount it as you would a usb hard drive, ...da0: 1.000MB/s transfers ... that is my digital camera sd card contents ... it appears that your digital camera also uses the USB mass storage protocal,... (freebsd-questions)
