After upgrading from 10.1 to 10.2, OpenOffice docs will no longer
launch from the Gnome desktop.
When I try, I get a splash panel: Cannot open <file>.ods...and then a
warning about it is a OpenDoc doc, opening can cause a security risk,
etc.
I can create a launcher and launch OpenOffice (calc, writer, etc) that
way and it is fine.
Using Openoffice 2.0.4-5 (dl'd from openoffice.org)
Looking in YaST, I see what looks to be everything there, including
the Gnome integration Module. No OpenOffice objects are present in
the Computer -> Application Browser -> Office
1 additional item, I had to backlevel X to 7.1 due to having an ATI
Radeon X700 video card. There currently exists an issue with the ATI
driver and the version of X that comes with 10.2 (7.2.26 according to
YaST).
Thanks,
Jim
