SuSE 10.0 can no longer boot (production box)???

I've been running this box as a server for almost a year now very well. 2
days ago I had to relocate it to a new office. Move went well and fired it
up, changed the static network IP and away it went. Worked well.
Drive is a Seagate 80GB pata.
During the day I noticed it was not responding and when I check it it was
powered down. So I powered it up. However, it showed the message "No BOOT
media" or something like that.
I booted from a SuSE mini CD into rescue mode and was able to
mount /dev/hda5 and see the boot and grub directories. I even ran the grup
install which seemed to run OK. Thinking all was ok I then rebooted and got
the same error message.
So, I am asking the "seasoned" SuSE guru's... How can I restore my
"bootability" on this drive?
Thanks in advance.
