Okay, I screwed up. Even though I read that entire paragraph, and not
just once, I managed to miss that. Looks like I'll have to retake
reading comprehension 101.

All of the following blather about how to get around the license, or how
many downloads are needed, or how many copies can be made from each
download, and how to sync them, in different locations, is covered in the
third sentence, and the majority of the rest of this thread is useless
wheel spinning.

It was still fun, even if it was all useless. And it does provide for
some possibly useful info as well.

I've been waiting to see when someone would point out this error, but as
nobody else seemed to notice... It's a dirty job, but somebody had to do
it. :)

Now go and wash your hands, you don't know what you might have picked up
:)

I still say the OP was trolling, and a couple of folks, who should know
better, got hooked, and played.

I'm still not entirely sure. He, or the legal department of his company,
could be somewhat paranoid about the licenses. Or he could really be
trolling. It makes no difference either way. He wanted to know what the
licenses were, he's had the full list of packages provided on the OSS
CDs, along with the licenses for each package. He can either spend the
time and effort researching the licenses, or can whinge about it. I'm
done with it.

On the bright side, I like the progress you're making on the DavjamOS
project. ;)

Project? It's little more than a proof of concept and not going to show
up anywhere other than the virtual machine I've made for it. As soon as
all the branding can be removed and replaced, and shown to be possible,
that'll be it as far as I'm concerned.
