"One other unfortunate condition in openSUSE 10.2 is that the fonts
don't look as good as they did under 10.1. Whereas the previous release
used the Bitstream Vera font family by default, that font isn't even
included in the default installation of 10.2 (it's on the DVD but you
have to manually install it). Worse, the font that is embedded into the
SUSE applications and menu is jagged and unreadable, and it cannot be
changed since it's embedded."
Is this a fact, and can something be done to remedy the fault?
In all these years that people are complaining about fonts, I have yet
to see an issue, exept for one program once (forget what it was).
The one moment I thought with a new installation something was wrong, I
just forgot to do the Autofocus on my screen. That setteld it.
Look up some screenshots for 10.2 and decide for yourself. Even better,
install 10.2 and decide wether you like it. No idea what this 'embedded'
font is they alk about. As far as I can tell you can change every font.

Under the Patriot Act, we don't have to tell you that.
