Re: Weird effect on kdb in SuSE 10.2

My home icon does not display my /home/john directory. If I move up and
down to another directory it works fine, but coming back to /home/john
does not work. It displays only the text of the last web page I
downloaded - the Plainfaqs recently mentioned - via Firefox. I can get
to and display the directory in the Konsole, when opening files in Kate
and OO. Nothing is missing but something modified pointers within Home.
I deleted Home and emptied trash then copied a new icon from the K Menu
- same results. Opening the directory from MyComputer works when going
to my home directory (with the usual problem of no formatting of how
files are displayed).

Any suggestions?
Thanks, John

I fixed it. 'Home' was opening and displaying /home/john/index.html as
a plain text file. I removed index.html using Konsole and now 'Home'
works again.
