trying to update 10.1 to 10.2 with the DVD ISO, the installer got stuck
trying to resolve some dependencies and package conflicts. mostly,
it complained about conflicts between java 1.4.2 and java 1.5. choosing
"do not install java 1.4.2" fixed the conflicts, but when trying to
"accept" and continue the installation, still keep getting an error window
to fix a dependency or package conflict - but it's empty! weird! doesn't
seem to be anything else to i can do but abort.

When upgrading I also had the same dependency error with Java. I think I
just unlocked java 1.4.2 and let it upgrade to 1.5. Either way, from then on
the installation went smoothly (except my ZMD always fails with a
segmentation error, though Zypper does the job so I haven't bothered too
much about it)
