Yeah, I've got a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Monitor) switch running with it
now. A Raritan Switchman. Works great.
There are other options available.
Know of any?
If you have a KVM, use that, as that is the easiest.
Next you can run Linux on both, mount the other machine over NFS
Also you can use a virtual manager
Also you coudl run Windows remotely
Yes. Just add repo's
Ok, a quick spin around google and it appears that Yast's default is
the YUM repository.
No, it isn't. It is able to read them, but it ain't the default.
Venturing a little further in Yast, would I be
correct to say that I need to add a new source in Yast under
"Installation Sources"?
Yes.
If this is the case, then shouldn't I already have some kind of FTP
URL already configed there? The only "Installation Source" I see is a
pointer to my local installation cd's. Is this normal?
Well, yes and no. Normaly during installation of 10.2 (not sure about
10.1) it will try and find another one. There can be several explanatons
as to why that did not happen, including users choice.
I also see SLP listed as a source. Is this a preferred method of
getting to repo's over FTP?
No idea what a SLP is. Just read
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories. The
external ones to add are Packman and Guru.

They say pesticides have been linked to low sperm counts.
In my opinion if you have bugs down there that are so bad
you need to use a pesticide, you're not gonna get laid anyway.
