Hope these questions don't sound to basic but I have google'd both and
looked in newsgroup without success. 1) It seems like randomly I get a
login screen with animated penquins and I'd like to set it as default but
can't seem to find it. 2) When logged in as root I am unable to
open /boot/boot/ dir., it says there are 14 files and the owner is root
but I can't access it? I am looking for the file /boot/message/ that is
mentioned in my grub file. I am using Suse 10.2 and am not totally new to
inux but could use some advice thanks in advance.
1. I'll let someone else answer this one. I believe its' been discussed
before and there is an easy solution..just don't remember.
2. /boot is the folder inside of which is the file (CPIO Archive file)
called 'message'. The /boot/boot 'folder' is really just a link back to
this /boot folder... I doubt you'll want to do anything with that file
(message)as you are new to Linux.... But there it is anyway.
