Re: How Many Kernels for Open Suse 10.2 x86_64?

I am switching over to Open Suse for the first time from Centos 4.4. I
would like to make a boot CD that supports both Intel and AMD x86_64 single
processor and SMP. Under Centos, this involved four different kernels:
Intel single proc, Intel SMP, AMD single proc, and AMD SMP. From what I
understand, Open Suse only installs a single kernel. Is this correct? If
so, will this single kernel function on all four of these mentioned system
types?

Thanks in advance,

Normaly there is no need to make your own boot CD. Just download it.

At the source of every error which is blamed on the computer you will
find at least two human errors, including the error of blaming it on
the computer.
