Ok, I've copied the link from one of the USA mirrors of unixheads.Hi
I'm adding it as a URL as an Installation Source.
It's hung for quite some time "copying the filelist.xml.gz file...
waiting...
Error Message #1 Cannot access installation media CD1
Error Message #2: "http://packman.sharewarestorage.com/archive/suse/
10.2/
Unknown Error: Downloading metadata
failed (is YUM source?) or
user did not accept remote source.
Aborting refresh.
Does this help clarify anything?
Thanks for your help by the way.
I just setup 10.2 on my notebook and had no problems adding packman
from unixheads.com via the zmd/update software GUI.
When you try adding sources tail the /var/log/zmd-messages.log it may
provide some useful information also wait until things have finished
logging before adding more sources. I have also found it's useful to
not subscribe until after you have added the sources and also restarted
zmd....
Also see if the sources are active or pending FYI my sources added
today;
