Accessing NIC features

Please forgive me if I use "Windows-speak" but I'm quite new to Linux.
I've set up an OpenSuse 10.2 box with Samba and the KDE GUI to use as a file server. Everything's working fine (and I'm favorably impressed by Suse). My NIC supports Wake-on-LAN (WOL). On a Windows machine, I'd configure the NIC by accessing its Properties under Device Manager, selecting the Advanced Tab, and then enabling the WOL feature. I can't figure out how to do this on my machine. Yast lets me access the NIC, but nothing seems to provide access to the advanced features of the NIC.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
