Every now and then my CD/DVD drive will not eject. This seems to happen

drive never opens. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem and
how to fix it?
What do you mean by "closing the drive with no CD/DVD mounted"? You can
tell k3b to eject the CD/DVD after it was burned.
Is the disc still mounted while trying to eject? You can check it with
`mount`. If so, try to force the umount with option -f. Sometimes if i
access the CD/DVD with konqueror it is not possible to umount it until i
quit konqueror. Afterwards it is no problem to eject the drive.
