Compiling can't find INCLUDES

I am trying to compile unichrome-20060322 because their website states
that it has 3D drivers for the via KM400 video chipset. I am running
into a problem with 'make' in the /linux-core directory. It cannot
seem to find the INCLUDE files located in the linux-2.6.18.6-jen44
directories such as /kernel and /lib. I tried copying all the header
files over to the /linux-core directories but that became such a mess
because of all the recursive linking/references. How can I tell
the 'make' program find those headers? It seems to find the ones it
needs in the directories above /linux-core.
Or does anyone know of an RPM that has the 3D drivers for the Via
Technologies onboard KM400 chipset?
