Re: Compiling can't find INCLUDES

-------------------snip----------------------------------------

At this point I am almost ready to open up the case and put in an older
Nvidia card I swiped from another machine. However it is an Nvidia
Vanta L and I don't see much positive feedback on that card. It is
rated as discontinued support by Nvidia.

Just re-read your initial post again....

Do you have the kernel source rpm installed ??? In my case that is
kernel-source-2.6.18.8-294. The source is where the headers are. If you
already knew that than it is not an issue. Of course you have a different
kernel version so your kernel-sources rpm should be the same as you
kernel !! You can add the following installation source to your
repository 'HOWEVER' I would not advise keeping it there or you'll see
updates almost daily !!! Just try to update once and then mark that
url 'disabled' in your repo list... You can always reactivate it later. I
just say this as you might have some issue with a kernel upgrade and need
to roll it back... Remember, it is always a good idea (must do in my
experience!!) to run mkinitrd from a root terminal (su/sudo) whenever you
do a kernel upgrade... Don't need the modules not matching the kernel !!!

I mention the kernel upgrade as this 'MAY' help out. As I would have to
have the same hardware as you to verify your problem I can't do that. But
if you have the kernel sources installed than whatever header file you are
looking for would likely be there...somewhere.

Long winded answer to ask if you installed the sources...sorry :-)

P.S. Here's that directory:

Type: HTTP
Server Name: software.opensuse.org
Directory on Server: download/Kernel:/SL102_BRANCH/openSUSE_10.2
