what command do i have to put into the fstab table so i can write to a USB
stick. When i put in the USB stick, the USB stick is recognized, and i can
read from it and copy from it but i just can't write to it.
access permissions on the usb stick are
show enteries write enteries enter
user x x x
group x x
other x x
I plug the USB stick into a USB 2 port
The fstab table is below
/dev/sda10 / ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/sda11 /usr ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 2
/dev/sda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/sda5 /windows/D vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/sda6 /windows/E vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/sda7 /windows/F vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/sda8 /windows/G vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
/dev/sda9 swap swap defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
I use opensuse 10.2 32 bit on a 64 bit machine if that info is any help.
cpu AMD 64 4200+
m/b asus m2n-sli deluxe
