Hi
I recently installed openSuSE 10.2 on my pc. I have an Asus A7M266
motherboard ACPI bios revision 1007. I have an ATI radeon 9550
graphics card which is currently being recognised as an RV350 in this
Suse. I have a 1.33Mhz AMD processor using 512 DDR memory.
I installed the ATI driver (proprietary) as instructed from the how-
to in the SUSE documentation and as far as I know this was successful
(http://en.opensuse.org/ATI) with this driver ati-driver-
installer-8.35.5-x86.x86_64.run .

In Desktop Effects within the Suse control panel it says "Your
graphics card is not known to be supported by Xgl. However, it does
appear to support 3D acceleration." If I try to enable the effects
it messes up my display and I have to turn off Xgl. Running 3d games
results in a message with the upshot that it isn't possible. I have
trawled Google to the point where I think it might get worn out and
had no luck in finding a solution to getting fglrx to work with it
though plenty of sites have hinted at it being possible.
My xorg.conf is below. . If anyone knows how to fix this I'd much
appreciate the help.

Thanks Catherine
