suse 10.1 graphic problem

Hi i hav been using the suse 10.1 for a few months....... no big
problem... till now....
........ and yest when i booted my pc after a power cut..... the
graphical login screen didn't show up
, instead the default console prompted for login......
and all i can do now is just type commands.... no doc's no movies
nothin..
how can i get the graphicz back....
any help pls...............
