I have never had linux delete files like that You will have to use yast
to reinstall xorg and again follow houghi's advice from there to set it
all up.

I would see what caused the deleteion that would be a new one for me.

On openSUSE 10.3 alpha 3 I noted that xorg had moved there library
files from X11R6/.
The nvidia installation put the files in the old directory and so didn't
work unless they were moved.

Perhaps the op has upgraded to a a later xorg version.

I'm currently on my 10.0 system so I can't check the absolute addresses of
were xorg wants the libs and also my 10.3 is now alpha4 without the nvidia
driver.
