Also my bad. When I look for something, I use pin. I should have
explained that /etc/init.d/lm_sensors was in the package sensors.
Now with my latest problem I'm becoming covinced I need a standard kernel
as my best guess is some tweak they've done has broken my UT. So I;m
trying the latest kernel from kernel.org, compiling it now. sure hope I
don't get an error 2.
Perhaps you can just re-install the kernel you get with openSUSE. Just
copy the kernel you made and the init with it to another name. Point
