[NOVICE] [SUSE 9.3] K-Desktop Protocole File Error

Hi and tnx for reading my message.

First of all, my apologize for my bad english.

I'm discovering Linux and I've rencently installed SuSe v9.3

The installation was done without any problem but:

- each time the KDE desktop appears, I've got this error message (in
french so translation may not be accurate
"KDE Desktop Error - The protocal file process has been unexpected
stopped" (here is the message in french: "Erreur K-Desktop - Le
processus traitant le protocole file s'est arrêté de façon inattendue").

This error entails that the desktop icons are not displayed.
At this time, I resolve this problem using the Desktop Configuration and
uncheck and recheck the "Display icones on the desktop", but I would
like no to do it for each boot ! Any idea are welcome.


-The second problem I have is that 8/10 time after the first boot, when
I type a key on the keyboard, this key is repeat a lot of time like if
the repetition velocity will be to high but after checked that, it's not
that. To resolve it, I need to reboot the sys and next time, all is
OK...
