Hi,

I'm using SuSE Linux 10.2 x86 and am having problems starting a second
permanent X display on my machine, I've added/amended the following
lines in a few files that have got me some of the way to what I want.
<snip>
Any ideas anyone? I been trying to fix this on and off for days...

What are you trying to do excatly?

To have a second session, this is what I do:
startx -- :1 &

That will give me a screen on [CTRL][ALT][F8]

Whell, what I actualy do is:
startx kde -- :1 &
That way I can start kde.

If I want to do it as root, I first do a `sux -`

No need to add anything.
