At any rate: good advice but felt the observation
needed to be made.

Hi Walt,
As you use KNode, to switch between fixed and proportional fonts in message
that you read you have to right click and check or uncheck mark in
item "Use Fixed Font" or to press letter x.
This answer is also to demonstrate what happens when one is using top post
and the other bottom. The timeline is messed up. We have to agree which way
to use and by now most of us that read articles from top to bottom found
that bottom posting is easier to read after few replies.
Consistent top posting will preserve timeline, but I would have to find
where the oldest message starts, then read from top to bottom, than go up
to find where next message starts and then read this one from top to
bottom. Even if we use minimum quotations the problem remains.
There is more reasons why bottom posting serves better in a long run, and
that is why most of us use it.
