I can use the flag "--version" at least, which gives me the answer "Gnome epiphany 1.8.0". That's the version I try to use right now. But it seems useless to start Epiphany with, for example, "--g-fatal-warnings" since it dosen't report anything in the terminal. I haven't redirected standard error somewhere else; it should show up in the terminal.
