Just did a new YOU and also a reboot, so that a newer kernel that might
have been waiting would be used:
houghi@penne : uname -a
Linux penne 2.6.18.2-34-default #1 SMP Mon Nov 27 11:46:27 UTC 2006 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Mmm.. strange, the last time i did a kernel update was more than a week
ago. I'm using this repository for updates:
ftp.hosteurope.de/mirror/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/update/10.2
This one was automagicly configured during the installation of 10.2
I just did:
chris@OpenSUSE:~> uname -a
Linux OpenSUSE 2.6.18.8-0.5-default #1 SMP Fri Jun 22 12:17:53 UTC 2007 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
The date i read there "Fri Jun 22 12:17:53 UTC 2007" is that the release
date of the update?
If so than you're way behind.
